Terms of Use

Inkstone 砚台 is an app for reading and learning real Chinese stories. Using it means agreeing to these terms.
Subscription
- Inkstone is sold as an auto-renewing subscription: Annual (US $59.99 per year), which begins with a 7-day free trial, or Monthly (US $9.99 per month), which begins billing on the day you buy it. Prices vary by country; the exact price in your currency is shown in the app before you confirm.
- Payment is charged to your App Store account when the free trial ends, or at once on a plan with no trial, and the subscription renews automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- You can manage or cancel the subscription any time in your device's settings (Settings, then your name, then Subscriptions). Cancelling during the trial costs nothing.
- If the price ever changes, the App Store asks you to agree before you are charged the new amount.
License
Your use of the app is governed by these terms together with Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
Content
The classical texts in Inkstone are in the public domain. The retellings, translations, notes, audio, artwork, and software are © 砚台 and are licensed to you for personal study, not for redistribution.
No warranty
The app is provided as is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be either, and we are not liable for losses arising from its use to the extent the law allows.
Changes
If these terms change, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
